Filipino bantamweight Jeremy Pacatiw is well aware of the striking ability that Fabricio Andrade possesses, which is why he believes John Lineker should focus more on getting the fight to the ground in their upcoming rematch.
'Wonder Boy' outstruck Lineker in their first meeting last October, resulting in the former world champion shooting for takedowns to help neutralize Andrade's attack. Jeremy Pacatiw suggests that 'Hands of Stone' ought to search for takedowns early and often in the rematch.
He told The MMA Superfan:
"Maybe he has to utilize his head movement and footwork because I don’t think they spent that much time on the ground. Maybe Lineker should try taking Andrade down and punish him on the ground, use some ground-and-pound. Lineker had success with that in the first fight."

Pacatiw succumbed to a knee to the body in his match with Fabricio Andrade, with a similar knee catching Lineker in the groin last October.
Lineker and Andrade will meet for the second time in the main event of ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video this February 24. The card, which will transpire at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, is available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
Jeremy Pacatiw says Fabricio Andrade has impeccable timing on his strikes
In six fights in ONE Championship, Fabricio Andrade has proven to be an electrifying striker, scoring four of his five wins via finish. Pacatiw thinks the Brazilian's ability to time his opponents makes him special.
In the same interview, he said:
“I think what he did in the first fight is already enough. I think what he’ll do is time his strikes perfectly. That’s like his style, you know, so it will show in the fight itself. Andrade is a master at timing opponents. If Lineker does adjust in the fight, it should be with his footwork, then Andrade will up the pressure.”
If Lineker doesn't show up to ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video with improved head movement, he could very well end up like Andrade's past opponents. However, 'Hands of Stone' packs a big punch, which was evident in his knockouts over Kevin Belingon, Troy Worthen, and Bibiano Fernandes.
Catch ONE Fight Night 7 on February 24 to watch the highly anticipated rematch between John Lineker and Fabricio Andrade for the vacant bantamweight title, live from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
