Conor McGregor appears to be enjoying every moment of his part-ownership of the Bare Knuckle FC promotion, having purchased part of the company in 2024. At the recently held Knucklemania 5, McGregor was fully involved with proceedings, from speaking at the press conference to joining interviews in the ring.
The event was headlined by a clash between two former UFC fighters in Eddie Alvarez and Jeremy Stephens, who was infamously on the receiving end of McGregor's iconic "who the f**k is that guy?" press conference moment.
Stephens, however, found himself on the winning side against Alvarez in their headlining clash. 'Lil Heathen' secured a KO victory in the third round after having dropped his opponent in twice during the round.
The former UFC fighter found himself face-to-face in the ring with 'The Notorious' following the result, and it appears that there may be an attempt to schedule a BKFC fight between them.

Stephens appeared in front of the media following the event and broke down a potential clash with the Irishman. He said this:
"Ol' Cocaine Conor [Mcgregor], he's got a long path bro. It's all good promotion, love it... I felt like [David] Feldman and him were up against me. Everybody was up against me." [1:10-1:25]
When asked who his dream opponent was, Stephens said this:
"B*tt-cheeks McGregor. That's the one. That's the money fight... He got knocked out by Poirier, I've got power... When it comes to bare-knuckle, bro, no one's beating me. A lot of people say that, but no one is beating me... I would love a shot to prove it, I'll go to Ireland." [8:55-9:25]

During Feldman's media appearance, he said this:
"One more thing, as I was walking out of the arena Conor tapped me on the shoulder and he told me to make sure I tell everyone he's fighting Jeremy Stephens in BKFC."
