Jeremy Stephens grateful for Conor McGregor's Midas Touch despite old beef, but vows to "break his f*cking neck" in BKFC, Irishman responds

Conor McGregor and Jeremy Stephens may very well be on a collision course in the bare-knuckle boxing ring. The two men recently expressed an interest in facing each other. Both men have competed under the UFC banner together. In fact, they were once part of the same featherweight division.

Unfortunately, Stephens has since parted ways with the promotion. The same, however, cannot be said for McGregor, who is still trying to author a comeback in the octagon. That, though, does not mean that Stephens hasn't eyed a matchup with 'The Notorious' in a BKFC ring.

In a recent sitdown with MMAFighting, Stephens touched on his desire to face McGregor while also praising him for the exposure he has brought to BKFC as its new part-owner.

"I got a boss now in Conor McGregor, who's writing my checks. I could potentially be fighting my own boss. There's a lot of people out there that want that Conor fight, but man, if he was ever to come over to bare-knuckle, I'm on a hot streak. Get the ball f***ing rolling. I would love to beat that f***ing guy, to welcome him to bare-knuckle."

If the former UFC double champion does end up facing Stephens in BKFC, 'Lil Heathens' only has bad intentions, vowing to deal life-changing damage to the Irishman, even if he respects what he's done for BKFC.

"Honestly, credit to Conor and all that, but if he ever got in there with me, I'd break his f***ing neck, and I'd get a big f***ing fat check."

If a bare-knuckle boxing match between the two ever came to fruition, the leadup would almost certainly be defined by trash talk given the pair's history.

Conor McGregor issued a response to Jeremy Stephens

Never one to allow others to take aim at him, Conor McGregor responded to Jeremy Stephens with a recent Instagram clip of him hitting the heavy bag bare-knuckle. He captioned the clip with a lengthy message of support to the BKFC roster and a light jab at Stephens.

"In our co-main event also we have "who the f*** is that guy" facing off again against Bobby Taylor. Me and "who the fuck" is an exciting bare knuckle fight down the line 100%!"

However, the Irishman must first make his octagon return against Michael Chandler and fight out of his UFC contract before a BKFC stint becomes a possibility.
