Jiri Prochazka shared what he would have done if Alex Pereira had thrown gloves at him in a hypothetical situation, similar to the altercation between Pereira and Jamahal Hill at the UFC Performance Institute.
Hill and Pereira had been exchanging words on social media, and when ‘Sweet Dreams’ met Pereira at the UFC PI last month, he confronted him. The Brazilian threw his gloves down to challenge Hill to a fight immediately, but the former champion refused, and the altercation was eventually stopped by Pereira's head coach.
Recently, Prochazka was interviewed by Michael Bisping and was asked about the ongoing feud between Pereira and Hill, as he is set to face 'Sweet Dreams' at UFC 311 on Jan. 18.
While some suggest Hill is more focused on his feud with the reigning light heavyweight king, Prochazka said:

"I don’t care about that, really. I don’t care about that. Like, today’s morning training, I had strength training here in PI, and Jamahal had the same in the same room. We had the same strength training, but I don’t care what he’s doing or what he’s saying right now because I don’t know him personally. I really don’t care what he’s doing or how his preparation is looking. I just want to see him on fight day and show my best performance,”
Furthermore, Bisping asked what Prochazka would have done in a similar hypothetical situation if Pereira had thrown gloves at him. The Czech fighter responded with a simple two-word reply:
“Let’s fight.”

Jiri Prochazka shares his thoughts on Jamahal Hill as an opponent ahead of UFC 311
Jiri Prochazka is set to face Jamahal Hill at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, at UFC 311. In the interview mentioned above, Prochazka acknowledged Hill as a skilled fighter, particularly emphasizing his cardio and punching ability.
He also highlighted that the fighter who handles the mental aspect of the fight will perform better. Prochazka said:
"I think he's a guy who can catch people with the punches. With Glover, he showed very good cardio and endurance in a fight — how to catch the opponent and how to endure till the fifth round. But, like I said, there are a few things when I see the space and how to catch him, and he said the same. So I think this fight how we handle that here [pointing head]."
