ONE Championship fans are still amazed at how ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon knocked out fellow Thai megastar 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut. The finish came during their featherweight Muay Thai clash at ONE Friday Fights 81 on Sept. 27, inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Superbon, the top-ranked ONE featherweight Muay Thai fighter, caught the Thai Top Team star by surprise and landed a perfectly timed lunging elbow midway through the first round for the finish.

Fans marveled at Superbon's performance in the comments section:

"Insanely fast elbow.. Jo had no idea what happened, took me three replays to understand what exactly got him."
"I swear its always the elbows that provide speedy knockouts."
"I haven't seen someone who's kicks effect people like Superbon's do, even when blocked you see people's eyes get wide like they are saying, 'What the hell just kicked me.'"
"That was quick..."
"Once again the elbow has exposed the get in close and punch strategy. These small gloves don't offer much defensive protection from an elbow."

Superbon eyeing world title rematch with Tawanchai

Superbon hopes to challenge reigning ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai again after the 25-year-old retained the crown via majority decision in December 2023.

In an interview with Nick Atkin after ONE Friday Fights 81, Superbon shared his optimism in potentially rematching Tawanchai for 26 pounds of featherweight Muay Thai gold:

"Of course, I'm going to love it because I've been waiting for that rematch against Tawanchai."
