'Smokin' Jo Nattawut can't envision how his scrap with Superbon will end at ONE Friday Fights 81 on Sept. 27.

The Thai Top Team affiliate goes toe-to-toe with the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion in a featherweight Muay Thai contest, which headlines the promotion's tentpole ONE Friday Fights card inside the revered Lumpinee Stadium.

When asked about his prediction during an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, 'Smokin' Jo offered:

"Hard to say. Anything can happen."

Though he expects to be locked in a game of chess with the Superbon Training Camp head honcho, the No. 2-ranked contender is game to do whatever he can to punch his way back into the winner's column.

'Smokin' Jo heads into this must-win fixture with a lone victory over Luke Lessei sandwiched between his defeats to ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai.

Besides, with a trilogy against the divisional king on the horizon at ONE 169: Atlanta on Nov. 8, it seems more than likely that he will find himself in a must-win predicament on fight night this Friday.

Jo Nattawut's keys to victory vs. Superbon

Although 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut will have his back against the wall, the Atlanta-based fighter should have a couple of routes to victory against his opposite number.

First, the 35-year-old's concussive punching power has been a sight to behold. While results haven't gone his way, it's clear that the likes of Tawanchai and Chingiz Allazov felt the venom in his hands. Even Superbon knows he won't have any room for comfort when they trade leather.

Moreover, Nattawut's familiarity with Muay Thai rules should come into play. The Thai Top Team athlete will be ready to throw elbows and knees when the chance pops up.

Though Superbon hails from the same background, he has been more used to the kickboxing style - and he visibly seemed to struggle with Tawanchai's variety of strikes during their clash for Muay Thai gold in December last year.
