Joe Rogan has not shied away from speaking his mind on a wide variety of topics on his world-renowned podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. The UFC commentator recently suggested that the 2024 San Francisco mayoral election could mark the end of the city.

Speaking to guest Tyler Fischer on episode #2168 of his popular podcast, Rogan stated:

"I was telling you before this, this mayoral race in San Francisco - this might be the end. This might be - like, San Francisco is a failed city. I mean, it really is, but there's no better indication of how failed it is than listening to this debate. Listening to these people argue about what's important in San Francisco. This was on the Jesse Watters show. You've got to listen to this."

After sharing a clip from the debate, Rogan continued:

"Just imagine. And that was the thing she was going to sit down on. This is the actual current mayor of San Francisco, London Breed, and she's like, 'can you name three drag queens?' Can you name three mentally ill men who dress up like the most tardish, caricaturist... What the f**k are you talking about?"

Rogan and his guest questioned the expansion of the acronym, adding that the plus attempts to include everyone who is not a white male. He noted that one of the meanings is two-spirit, which is his personal favorite. The podcast host also questioned how people who are asexual are listed with the other members of the community.

Joe Rogan believes reality and simulation are slowly becoming indistinguishable

Joe Rogan recently hosted Noland Arbaugh - the first person to receive a brain chip implant by Neuralink, Elon Musk's neurotechnology company - on episode #2167 of JRE. The UFC commentator shared that he believes things are approaching a point where there is no distinguishable difference between reality and artificial intelligence, better known as AI, stating:

"I think we're close. I think if the simulation is real. It seems ridiculous now less so than it did five years ago, but I think five years from now, it will seem likely. I think it's all interconnected in some very bizarre way. I think we were slowly building towards that connection with all of this technology and all these new innovations and all of a greater understanding of quantum physics and space and all these different [things]."

Rogan added that it is becoming more likely that things will be real, but not real at the same time. While technological advances in artificial intelligence have come a long way in recent years, there is likely still a lot of work to do before things reach that point.
