Oprah Winfrey and Michelle Obama's speeches at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) have invited criticism from Joe Rogan. The popular podcaster found the pair's critique of income disparity hypocritical.

Earlier in August at the DNC, Winfrey labeled Donald Trump a threat to democracy, while urging American citizens to stand up to life bullies if they are to live in a society free of racism, sexism, income inequality, and division.

Much like the media mogul, the former First Lady also spoke at length on the perils of income inequality. Obama claimed her parents never aspired to be wealthy and were suspicious of people who took more than what they required.

Furthermore, the 60-year-old claimed that her parents understood that children would not thrive in a society where their fellow man was living in peril.

Suffice it to say, Rogan was unconvinced with the pair's critique on the unequal distribution of wealth. Talking to former CIA officer Mike Baker during episode #2197 of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the sportscaster hit back at Winfrey, saying:

"How about Oprah? Oprah was talking about her and Trump running together, and now she's speaking to the DNC that he is a threat to democracy and she's up there talking about income inequality, like, hey lady, you're rich as f**k. I'm like, how is that equal?"

Rogan then took aim at Obama, saying:

"Also when Michelle Obama was saying, you know, I think she was saying her mother or grandmother was always suspicious of people who took more than what they needed, like you are worth so much money. That's so crazy. You did it on a civil servant's salary, which is insane."

The MMA commentator was not the only one who was dismissive of Winfrey's comments. In a recent post on X, media personality Dana Loesch called the talk show host "weird," while elaborating on Winfrey's luxurious lifestyle.

Many netizens also dismissed Obama's commentary about the perils of hoarding wealth, noting that she enjoyed a net worth of $70 million.
