Joe Rogan recently broke his silence in regards to rumors that he is planning on suing American television news channel MSNBC.

Earlier this month, MSNBC found themselves in hot water from a majority of the public after they posted a clip of Rogan talking on his podcast on their TikTok account. In the clip, Rogan is discussing US presidential candidate Kamala Harris and politician Tulsi Gabbard.

However, fans soon noticed that the clip had been doctored, as comments he made regarding Gabbard were edited to make it look as though he was endorsing Harris for the presidency.

Following the backlash, rumors began circling that the JRE host was planning on suing the news channel for upwards of $30 million.

Joe Rogan then discussed the speculation during episode #2197 of his podcast with guest Mike Baker. According to the UFC color commentator, whilst it is true that MSNBC doctored the footage, the rumors he is planning to sue them are false. He said:

"You know what MSNBC did? They took a clip of me talking well about Tulsi Gabbard and they tried to attribute it to Kamala Harris. They edited it and put it on their TikTok. Then my step-dad texted me and told me he was glad I was suing MSNBC...I was like, 'I'm not suing them'. But they did do that."

Joe Rogan highlights what he "loves" about YouTube

Joe Rogan has opted to praise the video-sharing platform YouTube during a recent episode of his podcast.

Speaking to comedian Greg Fitzsimmons on episode #2196 of the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), Fitzsimmons was discussing how well his latest comedy stand-up show is doing after he shared it to YouTube.

Rogan then chimed in and praised the website, believing it is a great platform for people to share their content, with their videos potentially being able to be viewed by millions of people. He said:

"YouTube is a good move, man. It's such a good move for getting your stuff out there, you know. You could get millions of views and everybody can get it, you can get it on your phone, you can share it. That's the thing I love about YouTube is like, someone can send it to me, like a link to your thing and I can just watch it right away, which is nuts. There's no other platform like that."
