On episode #2206 of The Joe Rogan Experience, the popular podcaster hosted venture capitalist and entrepreneur Chamath Palihapitiya. Together, the pair conversed about the illegal immigration crisis the United States has been experiencing for the past few years.
The resounding claim from their conversation was that the ruling Democratic party in the country is facilitating the entry of illegal immigrants to strengthen their voter base. Rogan went as far as claiming that there is evidence that the large influx of illegal immigrants has led to criminals setting foot on American soil.
He said:
"You have this incentivized effort to move people into this country illegally, which will undoubtedly bring in people that you don't want here. Gang members, cartel members, terrorists. That's real, and we've documented that, and there's people that have been arrested that were trying to come in that were terrorists."

Check out Joe Rogan's thoughts on the immigration crisis in the United States (2:30:50):
This isn't the first time that Rogan has spoken out against the Democratic party, as he has an established reputation as a harsh critic of the United States' current president, Joe Biden. However, the longtime UFC commentator also stresses that he is not a supporter of former president Donald Trump.
He has claimed to have turned down the opportunity to host Trump on his podcast due to not wanting to assist anyone win the presidential elections. Whether his claim is true remains to be seen, as Trump recently claimed that he would never request to be on Rogan's podcast and that he must be invited.
Joe Rogan isn't the only prominent MMA figure to speak out against immigration, illegal or otherwise
While Joe Rogan is MMA's largest voice when it comes to podcasts and politics, he isn't the sport's only political commentator. Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor has developed an increasing interest in Irish politics, with a hyperfocus on immigration, which he believes has led to a spike in violent crime.
"For too long Ireland has put up with policies that do not ensure that those entering our country are of the character, skills and desire to benefit Ireland. WE WILL NEVER ACCEPT THIS BETRAYAL OF COUR COUNTRY."
In the wake of stabbing incidents on Irish soil, McGregor infamously asked for the torture and execution of the perpetrator in a since-deleted tweet. He has also flirted with the idea of running for the Irish presidency.
