Joe Rogan appears to have come to Kamala Harris' defense against the 'stripper criticism' his recent JRE guest levied against her. Rogan also lauded Harris' performance in her debate against ex-POTUS (President of the United States) Donald Trump.

For the Nov. 2024 elections, the Democratic Party announced Harris as their presidential hopeful against the Republican Party's Donald Trump. Harris and Trump partook in a debate hosted by ABC News on Sept. 10, 2024.

On episode 2202 of the JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) podcast, Joe Rogan and fellow American comedian Tom Segura concurred that Harris debated well despite facing an unrelenting orator like Trump.

They speculated that Trump was likely advised against excessive trash talk. Segura indicated that Harris' advisors must've asked her to rectify her tendency to constantly laugh during speeches/events:

"For her, they're just basically like, 'Don't laugh like a stripper.'"

Rogan seemingly agreed but defended Harris by noting that comedians usually exhibit similar "panic" laughter when their material isn't good. They acknowledged that Harris is a former prosecutor, who's trainable and can deftly receive and utilize information.

Moreover, Rogan reiterated that Kamala Harris is a savvy politician when adequately and efficiently coached before a given debate/event. The UFC color commentator said:

"She's not dumb, by any stretch -- see, people wanna say she's dumb because she's not good off the cuff when pressure is on her. But you don't understand what that kind of pressure is like. Like, the kind of pressure that that lady has been under for the last."

He added:

"Let's think about the pressure she's been under for the last four years she's been vice president. Everybody hates her. She; a lot of gaffes, a lot of dumb things. So every time she's saying something, in the back of her head, she's like, 'Don't f**k this up. They're going to come for you. They're going to use this against you. Don't say did you just fall out of a coconut tree. Don't say that one again.' You know what I mean? So there's that kind of pressure. So it's very hard off the cuff. But when you give her time and prepare her like last night ... very good showing."

At a May 2023 event at the White House, Harris recounted her mother criticizing youths and asking whether they felt they just 'fell out of a coconut tree.' Harris' remarks triggered a memefest and jibes from political rivals. Rogan feels Harris is extremely conscious about not repeating such gaffes.

Joe Rogan praises 'puppet master' after Kamala Harris' debate performance against Donald Trump

Joe Rogan has often criticized both Donald Trump and current U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris as politicians. Earlier this year, Trump lambasted Rogan after he praised then-presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Well, Kennedy eventually left the race and endorsed Trump, whereas the latter's feud with Rogan appeared to simmer down.

Elsewhere during his JRE conversation with Tom Segura, Joe Rogan lauded the "puppet master," the person(s) directing Kamala Harris after current POTUS Joe Biden's withdrawal from the 2024 presidential elections. Rogan indicated that the writing and coaching being given to Harris ensure her speeches are impactful. The 57-year-old said:

"They did an amazing job from the moment [Joe] Biden drops out." [13:09 in the aforementioned podcast episode]
