Joe Rogan discusses limitations of Israel's Iron Dome missile defense and if it can be overwhelmed: "Some of them are going to sneak through"

Joe Rogan recently provided his take on Israel's famous missile defense system, the Iron Dome. An incredible invention of the modern era, the Iron Dome is known worldwide for its high efficiency. However, Rogan pointed out that even this state-of-the-art technology has its limitations.

During a conversation with filmmaker and writer Paul Rosolie on episode 2209 of The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), Rogan vented his concern about the current escalation of the conflict between Israel and Iran. The 57-year-old also detailed how Iran had launched a barrage of missiles at Israel, most of which were intercepted by the Iron Dome.

However, he also stressed how even the Iron Dome failed at intercepting a few of them, mostly due to the insane volume of missiles:

"The Iron Dome, Israel’s famous missile defense system, it doesn’t seem to be catching all of them. If you have enough launched at you at the same time, some of them are gonna sneak through."

Joe Rogan is terrified of the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel

Israel and Iran have been sworn enemies for long. The two countries have been involved in a series of conflicts, but few have escalated to the point of the current situation.

Apart from talking about Iran's missile attack in the aforementioned podcast, Joe Rogan also mentioned how one of Israel's prime cities, Tel Aviv, experienced a terrorist attack. All in all, he couldn't help calling the entire situation "scary":

"Iran is launching hundreds of missiles at Israel, and there was a mass shooting, some sort of a terror attack on Tel Aviv … It’s all getting very, very scary."
