Joe Rogan explains how Henry Cejudo could help Jon Jones win the Heavyweight Title

Joe Rogan recently went all out in praise of coach Henry Cejudo.

Cejudo, who retired from MMA in May 2020, has since taken up a new role as a coach, training some of the sport's most promising competitors such as Jiri Prochazka, Zhang Weili, and Deiveson Figueiredo. The former two-division champion is currently mentoring light heavyweight GOAT Jon Jones, who is preparing for his comeback into the octagon at UFC 285.

Appearing on a recent episode of his popular podcast show The Joe Rogan Experience, host Joe Rogan, sitting alongside guest Belal Muhammad, commended 'Triple C' for the efforts he puts into training his pupils.

Joe Rogan said:

"He's so meticulous in his trainning and how he preapares and plans for things... Like his everything is like very very focused."

Adding on to Rogan's comments, UFC welterweight Belal Muhammad also shared his thoughts on Cejudo's training regime:

"Dan Ige, he was telling me how he went there and he's [Ige] is like I never talked to anybody with kind of like the war mindset as him [Cejudo]. It's like.. he sees it as like a chess match. He breaks it down in that type of way. It's not like I'll just go out there, see red, whatever happens happens."

Henry Cejudo discusses Jon Jones' preparedness for comback fight at UFC 285

Henry Cejudo has been mentoring Jon Jones in preparation for his upcoming heavyweight debut. In a recent video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Cejudo praised Jones' dedication to self-improvement and claimed that it has made the already formidable fighter even more terrifying.

Sharing his thoughts on Jones' preparedness for the upcoming battle, Cejudo said:

"Just reflecting on the last few days that I had with Jones... You can teach him one thing, he comes back the next day and... he almost becomes flawless, you know. It's crazy to see the potential of how great and how good Jones could still become. You know, he's a man who... has the god-given ability. And when you teach a guy who has ability, technique like himself and is willing to learn. I mean that's what equals a straight GOAT status... As good as Jon Jones is, he's still getting better, and that's just scary."
