Joe Rogan believes a nuclear war could send the human race "back to the cave era" in the relatively near future.

It's no secret that several ongoing wars are taking place around the world, including Ukraine-Russia and Israel-Palestine. Meanwhile, the United States is slowly becoming a presence in dangerous conflicts by providing financial assistance to Ukraine, leading Russia to consider them an enemy.

During episode #2174 of 'The Joe Rogan Experience,' Rogan was joined by Annie Jacobsen, an investigative journalist and bestselling author. Jacobsen recently released a book called "Nuclear War: A Scenario," leading to an intense conversation with Rogan about the possibility of nuclear weapons being used.

Rogan referenced the infamous atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 while discussing a potential nuclear war in the present day:

"If you think about the timeline between 1945 and today, it's kind of extraordinary that nobody has launched a nuke. It almost seems like a matter of time. It'll be a blip in history... It could go sideways at any moment and then we're back to the cave era."

The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, signed a treaty with North Korea's Kim Jong Un during the ongoing conflict with Ukraine. Considering their disagreements with the United States, some people consider the partnership between Putin and Un as another step toward World War III.

Jon Anik calls Joe Rogan "the finest MMA analyst that has ever lived"

When Joe Rogan isn't podcasting, he's usually surrounded by mixed martial arts, as he started working with the UFC in 1997. Since then, Rogan has become the most recognized UFC commentator of all time by being the lead voice in many historical moments.

During an interview with MMA Junkie, fellow UFC commentator Jon Anik had this to say about Rogan deserving an Emmy nomination:

"It’d be great to be nominated for an Emmy but, you know, Joe Rogan has never been nominated for an Emmy as a sports broadcaster, and he is the finest MMA analyst that has ever lived and I could talk to you about all the different facets of the job that make him such.”

The latest Emmy Awards show took place on January 15. Mike Breen was awarded the honor of 'Outstanding Sports Personality, Play-by-Play,' which he's won three years in a row. It'll be intriguing to see if Joe Rogan finally receives a nomination for the award in 2025.
