Joe Rogan recently expressed why Elon Musk generally has a negative opinion about the authenticity of UFOs or UAPs. Rogan cited Musk's connection with SpaceX as its primary reason.

SpaceX also serves as one of NASA's official contractors for multiple purposes, including building and flying cargo vehicles to the International Space Station.
Rogan delved into a discussion about UFOs amidst episode no. 2244 of The Joe Rogan Experience. His guest for the episode, Ryan Graves, highlighted how Elon Musk was the only one who could be trusted to create an emergency task force to handle a space invasion by UAPs.

However, Rogan expressed that Musk doesn't necessarily believe in the authenticity of the reported UAP incidents, even with his vast knowledge. The 57-year-old said:

"Elon is oddly sly about this stuff [believing in UFOs and all]. You know, he outwardly dismisses UFOs. He says, 'Well, if they are there, they are very subtle'. I just feel like with his contracts with NASA and being involved in SpaceX, he can't talk crazy [about his stance on UFOs]. He can talk so much crazy about other stuff, but when it's [about] this, you know, f**king multi- multi-billion dollar company that he runs [SpaceX], I don't think he can f**k around."

Joe Rogan has portrayed himself as a believer in UFO stories and aliens multiple times
Joe Rogan agreed with Elon Musk on multiple grounds during Musk's appearance on JRE's episode no. 2223. However, the UFC color commentator had multiple other discussions on JRE, showcasing that he doesn't share Musk's take on UAPs.
While the SpaceX head honcho debunks the possibility of aliens existing in this universe, Rogan's words imply he believes that UFOs might be the vehicles of aliens who visit the Earth. In a previous episode of JRE, Rogan also justified his views, saying:
"We sent satellites to space to take incredible imagery of Jupiter. We definitely do all that. [So], why would we not think that another species [aliens] could do that."
