Joe Rogan is facing criticism from his podcast subscribers on Reddit after the introduction of mid-episode ads in The Joe Rogan Experience. Fans who subscribe to Spotify for an ad-free experience are upset as the ads are now non-skippable and disrupt the flow of the podcast.
Previously, these ads were skippable, a feature that seemingly met paying subscribers halfway. This new change has left many questioning the value of the subscription, especially given the $250 million deal Rogan signed with Spotify. A Reddit user highlighted the issue and wrote:
"I get still having ads, but making them skippable was at least meeting paying subscribers half way. Now it's mid-ep not skippable in the previous way. Pretty fu*ked, why pay for Spotify?"
Several Reddit users reacted to the thread with aligning views for the popular podcaster and wrote:

"His greed is stronger than his convictions."
"Everyone has a price."
"So much for that fu*k you money he used to brag about. Dude still freaks out if a video might get demonetized."
"Yeah the amount of ads in general within the podcast space is insane now. Remember to take your AG1 guys, maybe one day your health will be so optimised you can have a successful podcast too."

Joe Rogan hints at $30 million payday for Jon Jones in potential fight against Tom Aspinall
Joe Rogan recently teased a potential $30 million payday for a massive heavyweight showdown between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall.
Rogan hinted at ongoing talks and suggested the UFC might offer this substantial amount to secure the fight. Jones, the reigning heavyweight champion, has set high financial expectations, while Aspinall, the interim champion, has already proven himself with an 8-1 record in the UFC. Speaking about the matchup during a podcast episode with standup comics Yannis Pappas and Chris Destefano, Rogan said:
"I think it's going to be [Tom] Aspinall. I think they're trying to come to some sort of an agreement. The rumor is that [Jon Jones] wants $30 million and the UFC is going to pay him, hopefully."
