Joe Rogan recently opened up about his experiences as a high school kid in Boston.

Recently on The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan and his guest and old friend Louis CK discussed a past incident when Rogan stood up to a high school bully in the cafeteria. Louis recounted the story, saying:

"I asked you about fights, like I said do you have skills for fighting in real life. And you said there are just some things you know that put you way in advantage around people that are not fighters. Like you don't wait for the fight to start, you told me... You are in a cafeteria once in south and some kid came up... and as soon as you knew he was there to threaten you, you just punched him in the sternum [chest]."

Laughing out at the incident, Rogan responded by saying:

"That could have been avoided. I thought about that one for a lot afterwards. "

Joe Rogan explains the negative aspects of drinking, especially for fighters

Rogan recently praised UFC welterweight contender Belal Muhammad for his commitment to abstaining from alcohol. During their discussion on The JRE podcast, Rogan highlighted the potential dangers of alcohol consumption and its effects on athletes' health and recovery. The UFC color commentator emphasized that athletes must prioritize their health and recovery in order to reach peak performance in combat sports.

Explaining his thoughts, Rogan said:

"By not drinking, you're probably adding time to your career. Drinking's fun, there's a reason why people like to do it, there's a reason why bars are everywhere. But, the reality is it's f***ing terrible for you. And if you're a professional athlete, and you're in this world of professional athleticism - in the hardest sport in the world - if you can maximize your recovery and vitality by not drinking alcohol, I would tell people to do it."
