Joe Rogan recently chimed in on Drake's legendary high-stakes sports betting. The Grammy Award-winning rapper has become notorious for his massive bets on sports games, particularly in boxing and MMA. What made him go viral is the amount of money he loses in all these high-stakes bets.
So much so that the term "Drake Curse" became a thing due to his frequent losses. Fighters jokingly get concerned every time the Canadian rapper bets on them to win.
In a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast featuring Grammy Award-winning producer Scott Storch, Rogan hilariously addressed the Drake betting situation:
"I want to get a hold of Drake and talk to him about his fight picks [laughs]. That motherf*cker loses more money on fights. I wanna call him up."

Amongst the slew of betting losses Drake has had in the past, perhaps the most painful one that's been made public was his $2 million-loss betting on Israel Adesanya to win against Alex Pereira back in 2022. He also lost $450,000 on Adesanya again to beat Dricus du Plessis at UFC 305.
While Joe Rogan was pointing out Drake's poor fight picks, his producer Jamie Vernon mentioned that the Canadian rapper won by betting on Jon Jones to win via KO at UFC 309 over a week ago. While this was a solid pick, Rogan dismissed it as an easy bet.

Joe Rogan and Joey Diaz once extensively discussed gambling addiction
More on the subject of gamling addiction, some would call Drake a "degenerate gambler" - someone who has an unhealthy and uncontrollable urge to bet money on things. In a podcast episode years ago with his friend and fellow comedian Joey Diaz, Joe Rogan talked about the gambling addiction in America.
Rogan questioned why some states in the US require a license for someone to gamble. Diaz answered:
"Gambling is one of those things like legalization of marijuana, like legalization of f*cking cocaine. Like legalization of anything, bro. You know why? There's gonna be winners and there's gonna be f*cking losers...There's no difference in the drug addict than the gambling addict."
Joe Rogan added:
"No difference. It's just as scary too because they're conscious. It's like if you see the drug addict, you see them shooting up or whatever it is and you see them fainting, you're like, 'aw that poor b*stard'. But when you see a guy who's fully in the grips of gambling trying to figure out how to get his money back, he's all jazzed up with adrenaline, he doesn't understand why."
