Joe Rogan recently voiced his opinion on the enigmatic drones observed soaring over New Jersey skies. Earlier this week, the veteran UFC commentator took to X to question the White House's claim that the mysterious sightings were harmless, authorized piloted aircraft.

During an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience featuring wellness expert Bert Sorin on Thursday, the renowned podcaster delved into the topic of mysterious drone sightings in New Jersey.

Rogan expressed his belief that the objects hovering in the sky were likely not UFOs but rather drones flown in a coordinated pattern by miscreants. However, he didn't rule out the possibility that these sightings could have been something more inexplicable:

"Have you seen all these UFOs in New Jersey lately? In the last few days, there's been this steady stream. They're not UFOs. They're drones... They're not moving in any extraordinary way; they look like drones. It just looks like a bunch of a**holes thinks it's fun to put drones up everywhere, but now there's all this weird mythology attached to it, where the governor was saying, 'Sometimes, as soon as we put eyes on them, they take off.'"

Earlier this month, sightings of mysterious aerial objects in multiple areas of New Jersey sparked growing unease among locals and authorities alike. The tension escalated further when these objects were allegedly observed near the Picatinny Arsenal, a key U.S. military research and manufacturing site.

When Joe Rogan jokingly likened aliens observing humanity to Waffle House fights

Joe Rogan has a keen interest in cosmic mysteries and all things otherworldly, a fascination that is evident in both his podcast and his stand-up shows.

During his live Netflix special Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats in August, the stand-up comedian dedicated a segment to his firm belief in the existence of aliens and humorously took aim at critics who doubt the reality of extraterrestrial life:

"I think the dumbest argument that aliens aren’t real is when they go, ‘If aliens are real, why don’t they just land on the White House lawn? When you go fishing, do you check in with the president of the lake? No, you just trick those idiots with fake food, and then you pull ‘em out by their lips and take pictures of them and drop them back off in the water."

Rogan further comically drew parallels between the potential observation of humanity by aliens and viral videos of chaotic brawls at the American diner chain Waffle House:

"Exact same things the aliens do to us. I think aliens look at us the same way we look at Waffle House fights. They just observe like, 'What the f**k is going on?'"
