UFC color commentator Joe Rogan discussed Jake Paul's fight against Mike Perry and his upcoming encounter against boxing legend Mike Tyson. Rogan delved into the fights and Paul's boxing career alongside his podcast guests Din Thomas and Matt Serra.

During the discourse, Rogan started by claiming that Perry should've challenged Paul to a fight in the bare-knuckle fighting format. The undefeated Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) star succumbed to a sixth-round TKO loss to Paul in July.

Meanwhile, there's a section of the combat sports community that's not fully supportive of Paul's rise in the sport. 'The Problem Child' has fought five former UFC stars, who according to them, are way past their primes. They also contend that Paul avoids competition with real boxers or fighters around his age.

Rogan shed light on the criticism against Paul and said:

"I think he's like any other up-and-coming boxer. Everybody dismisses him because he's a YouTuber."

Speaking about Paul's upcoming fight against Tyson on Nov. 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Rogan added:

"He's [Mike Tyson] is perfectly capable of [knocking Paul out]. If he zigs when he should've zagged and if Mike can close the distance in a way he cannot expect ... And Mike also has layers upon layers of attacks in his mind. He's forgotten more about boxing than Jake Paul has ever remembered."

Joe Rogan has mixed reactions about the upcoming Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight

Mike Tyson, 58, will return to the boxing ring to take on Jake Paul on Nov. 15 in a highly anticipated event that will stream live on Netflix.

Tyson seems to be in good spirits at the pre-fight press conferences, even pretending to throw a punch at Paul and giving him a shove while laughing. Having said that, Tyson didn't seem too interested in a recent interaction at the Cowboys game.

Speaking about the fight on a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan said:

“I wish he didn’t do it. I wish it wasn’t a thing. I wish it wasn’t a thing where a 58-year-old guy was going to fight a 28-year-old. That said, I fully support his desire to do it. What, is he going to live forever? No, he’s not going to live forever. Maybe he wants one more shot at it. Maybe his body can do one more fight. I don’t know."
