Joe Rogan expressed skepticism over reports suggesting the Joe Biden administration might issue a preemptive pardon for Anthony Fauci. The rumored pardon comes as Fauci faces renewed scrutiny, with critics accusing him of mishandling key aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic response.

Rogan addressed the controversy on a recent episode of his Joe Rogan Experience podcast, saying:

“RFK Jr’s gonna have so much of an impact that they're talking about preemptively pardoning Fauci… How are you pardoning someone where he's not only not convicted of a a crime, but he's not tried, he's not accused, he's not indicted.”

According to reports, White House officials, including counsel Ed Siskel, are discussing possible pardons for Fauci, as well as others such as Adam Schiff and Liz Cheney. These conversations reportedly include whether such pardons might imply guilt, complicating matters for President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming administration.

Fauci, who played a pivotal role during the pandemic as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has been criticized in a 500-page House report. The document accuses him of downplaying the lab leak theory and providing misleading testimony about gain-of-function research and public health policies.

Joe Rogan opens up on facing criticism from Donald Trump over his comments on RFK Jr.

Joe Rogan recently discussed the fallout from his praise of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., which led to backlash from Donald Trump. In a new episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan explained that his comments, intended to highlight Kennedy's factual and thoughtful approach to politics, were misinterpreted as an endorsement of Kennedy’s presidential bid.

Trump, who took offense to Rogan’s remarks, lashed out, prompting the podcaster to clarify his stance:

"He [Donald Trump] got mad at me one time because I said that RFK Jr. was the only guy that makes sense, but I was essentially saying it the same way I'm saying it here. With RFK Jr., he talks about facts and he talks about reality, and he talks about issues and he talks about studies and what we know about things. He's just brilliant with his recall, and he doesn't attack people and I think we could all use more of that."

He stressed that his admiration for Kennedy was not a personal attack, but a reflection of the latter's intelligence and approach to issues.

Rogan also revealed that his praise of Kennedy sparked criticism from Republicans, who felt slighted by his comments. Despite this, Rogan’s relationship with Trump has improved.

The two recently reunited on Rogan’s podcast, which garnered 42 million views in just six days, becoming the second-most viewed episode in the show's history.
