On episode #2188 of The Joe Rogan Experience, the eponymous podcaster poked fun at a recent moment from a Kaitlan Collins interview on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.' For context, Collins is a news anchor on CNN, which some have scrutinized for biased journalism.

While talking about the American political landscape ahead of the 2024 presidential elections, Colbert referred to CNN as an entity that covers the news objectively.

"I know you guys are objective over there [at CNN], that you just report the news as it is."

Unfortunately for Colbert, his remark drew a chorus of laughter from detractors, who seemed to regard his statement as a joke. The moment also attracted Rogan's attention, who played a clip of it for JRE guest and fellow comedian Adam Ray.

"Bro, bro, bro. How crazy is that? The audience is like, 'Shut the f*** up.' That is hilarious. They thought he [Stephen Colbert] was being a joker. They thought that was a joke. That's how crazy this world has gotten, where f***ing CNN being unbiased is a joke to people in the audience."

This isn't the first time that Rogan has either mocked or criticized CNN. Last year, he criticized CNN for its alleged falsified coverage of the anti-police protests in Atlanta, Georgia.

Joe Rogan has clashed with CNN several times in the past

Whether accusing them of misleading photoshopping or lambasting them for their coverage of his use of ivermectin, Joe Rogan and CNN have butted heads a number of times.

In fact, Rogan has even shared memes on his Instagram page memes about his contentious relationship with CNN. With the UFC color commentator's increasing prominence in American politics, his issues with CNN are likely to continue and even escalate.
