Joe Rogan recently shared his reaction to the enigmatic events involving the unexplained drone sightings over New Jersey. Rogan has a keen interest in exploring complex topics across scientific and technological realms, particularly those related to extraterrestrial life.
This passion is vividly reflected in the UFC commentator's widely acclaimed podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, where he frequently invites renowned scientists and experts to engage in in-depth discussions on these subjects.
Rogan took to X to react to the official statement from a White House representative, who described the New Jersey drone sightings as a "lawfully operated manned aircraft" posing no threat following an investigation. The podcaster wrote:
"This is what the kids call 'sus.'"

Earlier this month, reports of unidentified flying objects hovering over various parts of New Jersey prompted an investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, including the FBI’s Newark division.
These unexplained sightings have sparked heightened concern among both residents and officials. The alarm intensified when the objects were reportedly spotted near the Picatinny Arsenal, a prominent U.S. military research and manufacturing facility, and over president-elect Donald Trump’s golf course in Bedminster.
When Joe Rogan alleged his ex-girlfriend’s curiosity about aliens led to her losing her government job
During an October episode of his podcast with former Navy SEAL Shawn Ryan, Joe Rogan shared how his ex-girlfriend’s fascination with aliens led to her losing a government job in the early 90s.
Rogan claimed that his former partner, driven by a sense of curiosity, searched for "little green men" in a government database. However, her computer was swiftly shut down, and shortly after, she was interrogated by authorities about the search. This eventually resulted in her either being fired or reassigned to a different position:
"She had some sort of top clearance [access to the databases] and one day, she wrote 'little green men' in the search function, and her computer got shut down, and then people visited her. They asked her, 'What are you doing, like why did you look this up?'"
He added:
"I think she wound up either getting fired or transferred to some other position or lost whatever clearance that she had. When I was young I was like aliens are real. But as an older man now looking back on her, I go, 'well maybe what she was doing was inappropriate for her job.'"
