Actor and stand-up comic Duncan Trussell made his appearance on episode #2247 of The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE). He and Rogan talked about another former guest, Terrence Howard. Specifically, they touched on Howard's conspiracy theories about extraterrestrial life and how it relates to Earth.

While Howard is an actor by trade, having appeared in the first 'Iron Man' film, he considers himself a scientist, despite lacking any credentials. One of his takes on the cosmos piqued Rogan's interest, which the comedian subsequently shared with Trussell.

In short, Howard believes that planets are formed from coronal mass ejections, with the ejected plasma coalescing and cooling into planetary bodies. According to Howard, planets tend to move farther away from the Sun, which he believes happened to Mars. Rogan said:

"He thinks that Mars, at one point in time, probably had civilization and life. And then as Mars got further and further and further out from the protection of the Sun, it eventually got too cold, and it eventually got hit by something and it lost its atmosphere, and now it's just desert. Well, now they know there's water on Mars."

The longtime UFC commentator then goes on to speculate on how hypothetical ancient Martian life could have led to the development of life on Earth.

"If you were in Mars, and you're a thousand years advanced from us, and you never figure out A.I., so they just go in a different direction. They're like super, super advanced though, where they could travel through the space between the planets, and you get to a point where you go, Hey guys, we got about a decade. We got about one decade where life can exist on this f***ing planet. We gotta get off of this now. Earth is ready."

Terrence Howard has appeared on Joe Rogan's podcast several times

As has been the case with some of his guests, Joe Rogan has welcomed Terrence Howard to his podcast more than once. The actor's most recent appearance on the JRE show was on episode #2171.

However, he also appeared in a previous installment of the podcast on episode #2152, alongside Eric Weinstein. His appearances are often punctuated by his conspiracy theories on both science and technology, with a specific attention to the subversion of fundamental mathematical principles.
