Joe Rogan's apolitical stance after endorsing Donald Trump and attending inauguration doesn't sit well with fans: "This ignores the cold civil war"

Joe Rogan recently clarified his political stance, distancing himself from both major U.S. political parties. Despite endorsing Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential election and attending his inauguration in Washington, D.C., Rogan explained on his podcast that he does not identify as a Republican or a Democrat.

He described himself as an "American" and pointed out that his views are shaped by individual ideas rather than party allegiance. Rogan stated that he agreed with certain ideas from both parties and criticized the tendency to reject useful perspectives simply because they come from the “wrong team.”

Speaking in a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience with Warren Smith, the UFC color commentator said:

“I don't consider myself a Republican. I don't consider myself a Democrat either. I consider myself an American. There's a lot of things that the Democrats believe that I believe too. There's a lot of things that they say that make a lot of sense to me. There's a lot of things that the Republicans say that make a lot of sense to me too. The idea that I have to ignore things that make sense to me because it's coming from the wrong team is just stupid.”
