Mike Perry recently presented a hilarious reaction to Joe Rogan's discussion about the usefulness of the alkaloid, Ibogaine. Rogan had this discussion with one of the guests on the latest episode of his podcast.
The former US Secretary of Energy, Rick Perry, and the former chairman of the Kentucky Opioid Commission, W. Bryan Hubbard, graced the platform of The Joe Rogan Experience for its latest episode (no. 2251). Initially, Rogan delved into a discussion with Perry about the usage of plant-based psychoactives to treat mental illness.
Thereafter, he also talked to Hubbard who educated him about how Ibogaine has proven itself as an effective detoxicant for opioid addiction. An Instagram post from @beond.us showcased Rogan criticizing the fact that Ibogaine was on the list of illegal substances which had Hubbard revealing its positive effects. He said:
"Ibogaine has the unique ability to restore the brain's dopamine and serotonin production to its pre-opioid exposure levels within 36 to 48 hours. Thereby fully resolving physiological opioid dependence with a single administration for 80% of individuals the first time. That number goes to 97% with a second supportive dose."

Perry noticed the conversation between Rogan and Hubbard. But his reaction in the post's comments section showcased that he probably couldn't wrap his head around the topic being discussed. He posted a GIF of Zach Galifianakis's puzzled face from The Hangover, with several complex mathematical formulae flying in.
Joe Rogan's other guest thanked Donald Trump for encouraging the usage of plant-based medications to treat mental disorders of American veterans
Apart from W. Bryan Hubbard's take on the usefulness of Ibogaine, Joe Rogan's other guest, Rick Perry, highlighted how plant-based psychoactives like cannabis have proven to provide relief from a plethora of diseases including epilepsy.
He also thanked the US President-elect, Donald Trump, for taking steps and planting people who would encourage the usage of such substances to help American war veterans deal with their mental disorders. Perry said:
"Thank God, Donald Trump won this election. He’s putting people into place that are open to plant medicine (psychoactives) being used for our veterans’ mental health."
