Joe Rogan has unraveled his live reaction to when he entered the Sphere for the first time. Heading into the UFC 306 (aka Riyadh Season Noche UFC) event, the veteran UFC commentator got to experience the unique venue before the fights started and seemed awestruck by its grandiosity.
UFC 306 transpired at the world-renowned Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A., on Sept. 14, 2024. It was the first-ever major combat sports event at the $2.3 billion-worth venue. UFC CEO Dana White had promised that the event would be a "love letter" to Mexico, particularly celebrating the North American nation's rich combat sports history.
As indicated in a report by the UFC beforehand, they roped in reputable filmmakers and entertainment industry veterans to craft a film comprising six chapters. It aired in parts over the course of the historic night.
Antigravity Academy's Valerie Bush produced it, while Nexus Studios (an Emmy award-winning studio) co-produced. Mexican-American filmmaker Carlos Lopez Estrada conceived it and served as the creative director.

Written by Carlos Lopez Estrada, Chris Kartzmark, and Anna Moskowitz, the movie played for the one-night-only event at the Sphere. It premiered on its mammoth wraparound LED displays, complemented by state-of-the-art audio and other features to provide the fans in attendance with a surreal experience.
Podcast mogul and longtime UFC color commentator Joe Rogan has long been an appreciator of artists, be it martial arts or professionals from other artistic realms. On that note, the former Taekwondo competitor was seemingly thrilled upon entering the Sphere prior to UFC 306.
The 57-year-old put forth a video clip, wherein it appeared that he was being guided into the Sphere. Rogan was heard stating:
"This is my first time ever being inside the Sphere. This is it. Holy sh**! Holy sh**! Holy sh**! This is insane. Oh, my God!"
Moreover, Rogan's written statement in his Instagram post read as follows:
"This was the moment I walked into the sphere for the first time. What a venue! It's so insane to see in real life. I hope it translated onto your television."
