Joe Rogan recently put forth a seemingly sarcastic tweet as a jibe at the Joe Biden-Beethoven analogy featured on a leading US media outlet. Rogan thereby signaled his disapproval of the analogy and of Biden's work as the POTUS (President of the United States).
A former Taekwondo competitor, Rogan has long been a staple of the UFC organization and the sport of MMA. The veteran UFC color commentator also happens to be one of the most successful podcasters in the world, courtesy of his JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) podcast.
The longtime martial artist has featured a wide variety of guests on his podcast, including various influential socio-political personalities. Over the years, he too has become a prominent voice in popular culture, whose opinions often make headlines in the political realm too.
Rogan has notably been a vocal critic of current POTUS Joe Biden. He believes the 81-year-old's age and supposed age-related mental deterioration make him unsuitable to hold the presidential office.

On that note, he's now taken aim at The New York Times (NYT), which is counted among America's top media outlets. NYT published an article about Biden, written by literary critic AO Scott, in March 2024. In the context of aging and related concerns, Scott deemed it simply a part of Biden's style.
The author pointed out that several renowned artists like Ludwig van Beethoven (musician), Richard Wagner (musician), Henry James (writer), and Martin Scorsese (filmmaker) delivered some of their best works toward the latter part of their careers and lives. The write-up featured an analogy, comparing Biden's work and potential to work at his advanced age to that of the aforementioned artists.
The article elicited criticism from certain quarters of the socio-political realm. Chiming in with a six-word tweet, Joe Rogan jestingly tweeted that he now feels better about Biden's presidency. Rogan wrote:
"Oh, OK. I feel better now."
When Joe Rogan compared Joe Biden's presidency to elder abuse
In an edition of his JRE podcast last month (June 2024), Joe Rogan and fellow American comedian Tim Dillon expressed their disapproval of Joe Biden being the POTUS. They implied that Biden was far worse than previous US presidents such as George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump.
Rogan noted the dichotomy between Obama's and Biden's public speaking prowess, condemning the latter for stumbling and making multiple errors in his speeches. The podcast mogul has even indicated that he'd rather vote for former POTUS Donald Trump in the 2024 elections over Biden.
Furthermore, Joe Rogan addressed a scenario wherein an individual, who exhibits the signs of aging like Joe Biden purportedly does, runs a grocery store or works another job. He opined that such a person would be viewed as a victim of elder abuse and their children would be urged to intervene and help rather than letting them continue work. Rogan stated:
"It's so far down the road that it is elder abuse."
