Popular MMA personality and podcasting extraordinaire Joe Rogan recently released a comedy special on Netflix titled "Burn the Boats". Rogan, who's been a stand-up comedian for decades, touched on a lot of subjects with a sharp sense of wit and humor.

One of the things Rogan joked about is his long-standing friendship with polarizing and controversial personality Alex Jones. The far-right radio host and conspiracy theorist has more than raised some eyebrows with his takes on various topics.

The unapologetically outspoken Jones was permanently banned from X years ago for violating their abusive behavior policy. His account has since been reinstated by new X owner Elon Musk after a poll conducted last year.

In his X account, Jones posted a clip of Rogan joking about him during his comedy special, saying he's correct about many things. Here's what the popular podcaster said:

"Look. Alex Jones taught me about this s**t 20 years ago. Listen, he's right about a lot of things - he's wrong about one thing though - but he's right (the wrong thing was a big one). But he's right - the wrong thing was huge - but he's often correct. "

Check out the video below:

Before his bit on Jones, Rogan was talking about watching a Roe vs. Wade rally and witnessing a biological man wearing a dress shouting for the government to stay away from his female parts. It's hard to pin down the context of Rogan's joke about Jones but it seems to be about the gender debate amongst conservatives and liberals.

These statements, of course, are in the realm of comedy and jokes and we can feel free to take them seriously or not.

Joe Rogan on the COVID-19 pandemic: "After COVID, I'm like, 'I don't think we went to the moon'"

Leaning further into conspiracy theories, Joe Rogan joked about how the pandemic has warped his sense of reality. In his comedy special, the UFC commentator jokingly admitted how his beliefs were changed by COVID-19, saying (via Netflix):

"Before Covid, I would have told you vaccines were the most important invention in human history. After Covid, I'm like: 'I don't think we went to the moon. I think Michelle Obama's got a d**k, I think Pizzagate is real, I think there's direct energy weapons in Antarctica.' I'm just kidding, I don't think Michelle Obama's got a d**k but I believe all that other s**t."
