At this stage in his career and for all he has achieved, there's no denying that ONE flyweight MMA world champion Demetrious Johnson is one of the very best fighters on the planet.

Despite him arguably being the greatest of all time, ‘Mighty Mouse’ still doesn't get the credit he deserved.

One supporter that has always spoken up for him is Joe Rogan, podcaster and martial artist himself, who is the long-running color commentator for the UFC.

A big admirer of the ONE flyweight world champion, Rogan has always credited him with being one of the most well-rounded martial artists to ever compete in MMA.

During a recent Fight Companion podcast on The Joe Rogan Experience, he spoke about how the fact that 'DJ' being a flyweight fighter is the only reason that he isn’t a huge star that is recognized as one of the baddest men in the world:

“It sucks! How people don’t, like, appreciate them because they’re so small. Like [Mighty Mouse] never got his just dues. He’s the best, like the most beautiful expression of martial arts I’ve ever seen. He’s awesome. And he’s such a great guy. Mighty Mouse is the f**king man.”

If you’ve ever heard Demetrious Johnson speak before, then you already know that he doesn’t compete in order to be praised or to be a huge star.

That being said, ‘Mighty Mouse’ deserves his flowers for the legendary career that he has produced - one that might never ever be replicated in the flyweight division across any promotion.
