Episode #2256 of The Joe Rogan Experience saw the popular podcaster welcome fellow comedians Shane Gillis, Ari Shaffir, and Mark Normand. The group discussed the potential of a nuclear threat due to the unidentified anomalous phenomenon (UAP) sightings in the United States.
Among the possibilities that Rogan and Co. considered was that the drones were and are being used to search for a nuclear warhead that was somehow transported into American borders. Rogan's hypothesis isn't random either, with him saying the following:
"I heard that they were scanning the sky, they were looking for a radioactive signal. There was some guy that was a drone manufacturer in America, we played his video, and he was saying that they do have the capability to look for gamma radiation and that there was a nuclear warhead that was unaccounted for and that they were worried that someone slipped it into the country. But then, we've been diving down that rabbit hole. It doesn't seem like that makes sense."
When asked by Shaffir why the United States government doesn't simply disclose the true purpose of the drones if that is indeed the case, the UFC commentator provided fairly clear-cut reasons.

"I don't know, because then people would freak out. Well, here's the other thing. If they don't have to tell you, why would they tell you? They don't want to, because it just makes more work for them."

Unfortunately, the full podcast episode isn't available on YouTube and remains a Spotify exclusive for the time being. In more unfortunate news, the Spotify edition of the podcast is audio-only, but the aforementioned conversation can still be listened to.

The faith that Rogan now places in the United States government in the wake of Donald Trump securing his second term as president is a departure from the severe skepticism he exhibited toward the Biden administration.
Joe Rogan once spoke about the effectiveness of a nuclear bunker
On episode #2174 of his podcast, Joe Rogan shared his thoughts on technology billionaire Mark Zuckerberg's reported nuclear bunker. In short, he was skeptical of it, expressing his doubts to investigative journalist Annie Jacobsen. In fact, he dismissed the notion that Zuckerberg had a nuclear bunker at all.
"Yeah, all that's nonsense. These people think, like, Zuckerberg is building a nuclear bunker in Hawaii, he's going to survive. He's building a hurricane shelter."

Zuckerberg himself has been a frequent guest on the JRE podcast, but his doomsday preparations have rarely taken center-stage during his appearances.
