UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently sat down with fellow comedian Theo Von in an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. In one part, Rogan tried to get his friend to train in the sport of Jiu-Jitsu.
The podcaster has been a long admirer of the sport and believes it is essential for self-defense and maintaining a high level of fitness. Rogan, who himself is a black belt in Eddie Bravo's 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu, tried to convince Von by saying:
“I should have taken Jiu-Jitsu back then. I could have been a badass in 10 years. If you took Jiu-Jitsu right now, by 54 you could be a black belt, 100%, yeah, you're an addict. All you have to do is get addicted to Jiu-Jitsu, yeah, that's what happens to a lot of addicts, they get addicted.”

Joe Rogan shares his climate change theory
UFC commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan discussed the subject of climate change in a recent episode of his podcast with American filmmaker Mel Gibson. Rogan claimed he has examined climate change and dismissed the notion of humans having a big impact on it.
Speaking about humans' effect on climate change, Rogan said:
"The problem is that once a narrative gets established and then there is a profit attached to the solution to that narrative - and that's green energy and green energy bills and there's businesses that are wrapped around there.
"And then there is fear that they love to pump into people about climate change... The idea that this whole thing is based on carbon emissions from human beings is total bullsh**. It's not true."
