Joe Rogan has suggested that he wants to believe that the entities featured in a video he reshared are UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) aka UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena). Netizens soon chimed in with a wide variety of reactions to Rogan's assertion, which comes amid the high volume of drone and alleged UAP sightings in New Jersey.
Rogan hails from and lives in the United States of America, a country with a storied history of reported UAP sightings and alleged alien-to-human and vice-versa communication. In Nov. 2024, various people in the U.S. reportedly experienced a spike in the supposed UAP appearances across the country's Northeastern part and elsewhere, mainly in New Jersey.
Rogan has now shared a video, reposted from the Instagram handle @inspectortheory. The footage features a group of individuals' audio in the background, while the video shows a few bright orbs moving in the night sky. The 57-year-old attached the following statement alongside the reposted video:
"I do t know what this is, but I want to believe. Repost: inspectortheory"

Netizens took to the comments sections of Joe Rogan's Instagram post, with some commenters jesting about the people in the video shushing each other. One observer referenced the gaming joke regarding the highly-anticipated video game, GTA VI, and opined that even the aliens had arrived before the game's long-awaited release.
"We got aliens before GTA 6"
One Instagram user questioned why nobody was investigating the objects with advanced instruments, while another joked about the alleged aliens choosing New Jersey as their first spot of contacting humans. A commenter jibed at Rogan, stating:
"You want to, so you fall for anything"
Multiple commenters referenced Project Blue Beam, deemed a conspiracy theory by some in America. One version of the theory entails that the government/global elites would fake an alien invasion/supernatural events, creating chaos and establishing an authoritarian global regime. An observer wrote:
"Is it project blue beam time already?"
Some agreed with the UFC commentator's indication that the objects were UFOs, while another jested:
"Invite them on the podcast"
A fan made a Christmas joke, opining that it was probably Santa Claus refueling his vehicle:
"It's just Santa gassin up"

Joe Rogan recently revisited Joe Diaz's old comments about history of UFO sightings in New Jersey
Incidentally, Joe Rogan recently hosted ex-U.S. Navy personnel and pilot, Ryan Graves, on the JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) podcast, who dissected and seemingly shot down a much-discussed theory about the New Jersey sightings.
Furthermore, Rogan had notably discussed UFOs at length with fellow comedian, Joey Diaz, on JRE's episode #1319 a few years ago.
Diaz specifically shed light on New Jersey's history of UFO sightings. He harked back to 1975-1976 when a UFO allegedly landed in Hudson County Park. An excerpt from Diaz's comments read:
"New Jersey is the No. 1 place in the country where they have the most UFO sightings ... A UFO landed in Hudson County Park. I was a kid, and the next day the Feds locked up the park."
Joe Rogan appeared to lightheartedly cite the recent developments and emphasized Joey Diaz was ahead of the times.
