Johan Ghazali will have one of the most important people in his life backing him up in his match against Johan Estupinan in Bangkok.

The two rising stars will square off in a critical flyweight Muay Thai bout at the stacked ONE 170 event on Jan. 24 at Impact Arena.

Heading into this all-important bout, Ghazali revealed that his older brother Elias once fell victim to Estupinan in the amateur circuit.

Ghazali knew his older brother had firsthand knowledge of the Colombian star's unorthodox style, and he told the press during his virtual media day that he and Elias had been brainstorming ahead of ONE 170.

"Yeah, yeah. We talk about this all the time. We're always talking about a good game plan or a good strategy to fight Estupinan," said Johan Ghazali.

Apart from his brother's wisdom, Ghazali also linked up with Thai megastar Superbon and now trains at the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion's gym in Bangkok.

Ghazali is one of the brightest young stars in ONE Championship and holds a stellar 6-1 promotional record with five of his wins coming by knockout.

After starting his promotional tenure with a blistering five-fight winning streak, Ghazali fell in the toughest fight of his career when he lost to five-time Muay Thai world champion Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat at ONE 167.

Ghazali, though, recovered from the defeat and knocked out Mexican slugger Josue Cruz in his next match at ONE 168: Denver at Ball Arena in Colorado.

Johan Ghazali says his usual aggressive style will be more than enough against Johan Estupinan

Johan Ghazali is a perfect proponent of aggression working wonders in Muay Thai. He's confident that his all-action approach would be enough to stop Johan Estupinan at ONE 170.

While both fighters can knock opponents out with a single strike, the two Johans differ in how they launch their attacks.

Estupinan has a Latin flair to his offense while Ghazali has pure power behind his style.

During the same virtual media day, Ghazali said:

"There will be changes to my game, of course. But I'd like to stick to the same style because I feel my style doesn't have any problems. I just need to twitch a little bit of things in my style."
