Superbon heads into his rematch against Tawanchai PK Saenchai at ONE 170 fueled by revenge. Johan Ghazali, for one, certainly thinks so.

The young Malaysian-American phenom, who has spent about three months at the ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion's base, Superbon Training Camp, believes the Thai hero is equipped with renewed vigor to attain two-sport glory inside the Impact Arena on Jan. 24.

After having his dreams crushed by Tawanchai in their first encounter at ONE Friday Fights 46, 'Jojo' feels the Thai will reap the benefits of his hard work in Bangkok, Thailand.

Sportskeeda MMA caught up with Johan Ghazali to get his thoughts on whether fans can expect a newer version of Superbon as he looks to secure Tawanchai's ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title at ONE 170. He responded by saying:

"What sets Superbon apart in this rematch...I mean training with him, I think I see his hunger. Not saying Tawanchai isn't going to be motivated. But having trained with Superbon every day, I can see his dedication and that determination."
"The way I see it, he's the hungrier of the two, and that really plays into his advantage I guess," he added.

Before the two Thai strikers trade leather in the main event, the 18-year-old teenage sensation hopes to leave fans on the edge of their seats in his flyweight Muay Thai duel alongside Johan Estupinan.

The youngsters cross paths in a three-round flyweight Muay Thai contest.

Johan Ghazali himself fueled by revenge for upcoming showdown

Before Johan Estupinan blazed through the ONE roster, the Colombian beat Johan Ghazali's eldest brother, Elias Ghazali, by unanimous decision at the 2021 IFMA World Championship.

With that in mind, the 18-year-old wants to exact revenge for his brother by wiping away 'Panda Kick's undefeated record inside the Thai capital city.

He told ONE Championship:

"I want to get revenge for my brother since Estupinan beat him a couple of years ago."

ONE 170 will be available to fight fans at watch.onefc.com this Friday, Jan. 24.
