Johan Ghazali thankful for parents’ support for fighting career: “I'd like to believe they're proud of me”

18-year-old Malaysian Muay Thai sensation 'Jojo' Johan Ghazali comes from a strong fighting and athletic background, so it comes as no surprise that he has the full backing of his parents in his martial arts career.

The Rentap Muaythai Gym representative says he fights to make his parents and family proud, and that he looks to keep the family tradition alive in the world's largest martial arts organization.

Speaking to the media in a recent ONE 170 virtual media day, Ghazali gave props to his family.

'Jojo' said:

"I'd like to believe they're proud of me. I'm sure they are but they never tell me that to my face. But yeah, it's definitely good. Even my brothers and sisters, they all have their own names. They're famous in Malaysia. It's good, you know. This sport has brought so much good to our family."
