It's no secret that John Lineker is entering his rematch against Fabricio Andrade with adjustments—and he believes he has solved the problem of 'Wonder Boy'.
The 32-year-old former champ struggled to deal with the Muay Thai and length of Andrade in their first meeting. However, Lineker recently told Sportskeeda MMA that he'll be better prepared to close the distance in the rematch. He stated:
"Andrade is an excellent fighter, a tough guy, but for sure this new fight against him will be different. But like I said, even though he has good Muay Thai, I'm working a lot on the issue of distance to shorten it better and use my grappling. I'm also working on my movement in the cage. It will definitely make a difference."
Lineker and Andrade are two of the top MMA strikers on the roster, which is evident in their high knockout percentage. Of their combined nine ONE appearances (excluding their first meeting), seven have ended by finish.

John Lineker expects to be sharper in upcoming rematch with Fabricio Andrade
Not only does Lineker plan to enter the rematch with adjustments, but he plans to be a sharper striker overall. He told Sportskeeda MMA:
“The strategy won't change much, but I'm improving a few things. I've been working on footwork, how to better move my head, and how to better shorten the distance during the fight. I'm going to keep practically the same game, only more evolved.”
Lineker holds a vast experience edge over Andrade, having already competed against stars like T.J. Dillashaw, Cory Sandhagen, Marlon Vera, and Bibiano Fernandes, amongst several others.
One of the most underappreciated and underrated fighters on earth, John Lineker has only lost four of his 20 bouts dating back to 2012. Moreover, he hasn't been finished since his UFC debut.
Andrade poses a distinct threat as a newer and hungry foe, but anyone who counts out Lineker would be making a mistake.
