Former undisputed ONE bantamweight MMA world champion 'Hands of Stone' John Lineker of Brazil has nothing but praise for potential opponent, flyweight Muay Thai icon 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon.

Lineker made the transition to Muay Thai over the past year and is now 2-1 in 'the art of eight limbs.'

Despite losing his latest fight to 'Left Meteorite' Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai last weekend at ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs. Abdullaev on Prime Video, Lineker remains a threat in the sport of Muay Thai, and many fans want to see him in the ring with a guy like Rodtang.

Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Lineker talked about a potential showdown with 'The Iron Man'.

'Hands of Stone' said:

"I see it would be a great fight against him. His style is what I like to see, and it's the style I like to put into practice when I step into the cage. I'm sure the fans would really enjoy watching this fight."

'Hands of Stone' John Lineker says competing in Muay Thai is all fun and games. But getting his bantamweight MMA gold back remains his top priority.

The Brazilian veteran told ONE:

"Right now I just want to do these super fights, especially to keep myself active. I'm not thinking about continuing with Muay Thai fights and getting a title shot yet. As I said, my focus remains on MMA. I want to fight for the MMA bantamweight title and win the belt again."
