'Hands of Stone' John Lineker is famed in MMA due to the dangerous power in his hands. The heavy-handed Brazilian striker has been able to earn victory by way of knockout in nearly half of his wins.

The brutal power that Lineker carries originated from when he worked as a bricklayer.

Speaking in an interview with ONE Championship, 'Hands of Stone' explained:

"I worked a lot as a bricklayer’s helper, so I hit a lot of dough and carried a lot of weight. I think this strength has been developing since I was a kid."

Lineker has been building his overall strength ever since he was a young man. The Brazilian striker has converted this power into tremendous MMA success with 17 out of his 35 wins being earned via KO/TKO.

'Hands of Stone' will be looking to add another knockout win to his name as he battles 'Wonder Boy' Fabricio Andrade at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video. This world title showdown can be enjoyed on February 24. All the action on this Friday's card will be broadcast live and for free on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers across North America.

John Lineker is motivated to face Fabricio Andrade

The ONE bantamweight world title showdown between John Lineker and Andrade has fans all around the globe talking. After their first fight ended as a No Contest last October, the inconclusive bout left MMA followers wanting more.

'Hands of Stone' Lineker is fired up to fight the 25-year-old Brazilian striker. In an interview with ONE Championship, Lineker explained:

“I like opponents who try to provoke me. Instead of making me feel pressure, he motivates me.”

After going multiple rounds against Andrade, John Lineker has a great game plan for this fight and knows the areas in which he can improve. While speaking in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Lineker said:

"Watching the fight I saw that I needed to improve my speed, work on my legs and movement, move my head more, get out of the target, out of his way. This is what I need to do differently. I need to use my speed and I can't stand in front of him, so he won't hit me as accurately.”
