As the two Brazilians prepare to face each other once again, Fabricio Andrade hasn’t shied away from taunting his opponent John Lineker.
Andrade did the same thing in the build-up to their first fight at ONE on Prime Video 3, but a lot of his statements were proven to be true.
‘Wonder Boy’ claimed that he was the best bantamweight in the division and that he would turn his ferocious foe into a wrestler during the fight. He made a convincing argument when they finally met inside the circle.
After their fight ended in a no contest, an immediate rematch was set for ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video for February 24. Once again, Andrade began to say what was on his mind.

Thanks to his huge amount of top-level experience in the sport, Lineker says that this doesn’t faze him one bit. If anything, it fuels him.
In an interview with ONE Championship, the former bantamweight champion said:
“I like opponents who try to provoke me. Instead of making me feel pressure, he motivates me.”
A fired-up John Lineker is certainly not a man that you want to get into a fight with. But after the first fight, Fabricio Andrade is supremely confident in his abilities.
Their rematch may come down to who deals with the pressure better and who gained the most valuable lessons from their first encounter. Fans with an Amazon subscription in North America can catch the event live and for free on Prime Video.
John Lineker believes he has a solution for Fabricio Andrade’s Muay Thai
The biggest questions ahead of the rematch between John Lineker and Fabricio Andrade surround how the former champion will approach ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video.
On February 24, Lineker needs to make the right adjustments after having limited success in his first meeting with Fabricio Andrade. The 32-year-old is confident that he has the answers to queries about how he can implement his game plan against the Muay Thai striking and range of ‘Wonder Boy’.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA, John Lineker shared the aspects of his game that he has been working on in order to make the rematch a far different fight this time around:
"Andrade is an excellent fighter, a tough guy, but for sure this new fight against him will be different. But like I said, even though he has good Muay Thai, I'm working a lot on the issue of distance to shorten it better and use my grappling. I'm also working on my movement in the cage. It will definitely make a difference."
Lineker has had incredible success in his career with his relentless pace and devastating power. However, he was unable to use that effectively against Fabricio Andrade at ONE on Prime Video 3.
