Johnny Eblen ripped a page out of Brock Lesnar's book at Bellator 290: Throwback

Johnny Eblen scored an impressive unanimous decision victory against Anatoly Tokov at Bellator 290 last month in his first middleweight title defense. The 31-year-old American moved his MMA record to a perfect 13-0 overall, with the final scorecards reading 50-45, 49-46, and 49-46 in his favor.

During his fight against Tokov, 'The Human Cheat Code' pulled off an impressive German suplex move in the fifth and final round in a very Brock Lesnar-esque 'Suplex City' manner.

The German Suplex is a popular wrestling move where a wrestler wraps their hands around their opponent's waist and throws them backward. The person taking the bump can land on their back or be thrown in a way where they take it directly on their neck or head.

When Eblen launched Tokov into the air with a huge German suplex, fans were instantly reminded of Lesnar's fantastic technique and notoriety for performing them in fights.

Bellator MMA's Twitter handle posted a video of Johnny Eblen performing the wrestling move. The middleweight champion executed the suplex perfectly, eliciting an enthusiastic response from the commentary box praising him. To Tokov's credit, the title challenger wasn't held down and quickly got up to his feet to resume fighting.

Johnny Eblen next fight: Bellator middleweight champion believes he can beat Alex Pereira easily

Alex Pereira shocked the MMA community when he defeated long-reigning UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya via TKO at UFC 281 to be crowned the new king of the 185-pound division.

Nevertheless, Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen is not impressed and believes he's a stylistic disaster for 'Poatan' if a super fight between the two ever happens. After his dominant win over Anatoly Tokov at Bellator 290, 'The Human Cheat Code' claimed that he is simply the best middleweight in the sport.

In an interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Eblen made no bones about just how good he is, stating that he would absolutely defeat the current UFC middleweight champion. He stated:

"I think I beat him. Ten times out of ten, I beat him, I’m too much for the guy. I am a style matchup disaster for him. He’s a style matchup that's great for me... I don’t see him beating me. There’s no way... He’s too old. He would have had to start wrestling ten years ago. So I think I’m a bad style matchup for him, and I think I beat him ten times out of ten.
