Jon Anik accusing a flight attendant of impolite behavior similar to Khabib Nurmagomedov's airplane incident has drawn attention from MMA fans worldwide. While some were disappointed with the airline industry, others criticized Anik for exaggerating the situation.
For context, Nurmagomedov was recently removed from a Frontier Airlines flight after an argument with the flight attendant about his seating at the exit row. Following that, the former UFC champion took to X and chastised the flight attendant for her harsh behavior, questioning whether it was a case of racism.
Anik has also come out on X and described his experience with a domestic airline, similar to Nurmagomedov. When he requested tea, the airline employee allegedly treated him very rudely, according to the UFC commentator, who wrote:
''Just asked a flight attendant for a tea. Might as well have asked her for $10K. Sorry! Every time I fly domestically, I am amazed at just how rude airline and airport personnel are in America.''

''Was it frontier Jon?''
Another one stated:
''That's a bummer. Some service workers treat you like they are doing you a favor.''
Other fans wrote:
''Now you’re just doing too much. Just because one incident happens doesn’t mean you should come out here playing victim daddy and putting peoples jobs on the line. Grow tf up''
''Airline staff act like government employees because they can. When they all suck, where else are we gonna go really? They got us where they want us. Paying too much for crammed flights, bad seats, bad service, bad food, and no privacy. We really do need an industry disruption.''

When Jon Anik discussed if Tony Ferguson could have defeated Khabib Nurmagomedov
Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson were supposed to face each other inside the octagon five times but for various reasons, including injuries and the COVID pandemic, the matchup never happened.
After Ferguson's submission loss to Michael Chiesa at UFC Abu Dhabi last year, MMA commentator Jon Anik discussed if 'El Cucuy' in his prime could have defeated Nurmagomedov in an interview with Submission Radio. He said:
''Yes, I think a prime Tony Ferguson presents a lot of different problems to Khabib Nurmagomedov but answering that question in 2024 is a little bit harder to do when you look at the rainbow-colored nature of Tony Ferguson’s Wikipedia page. I mean it is indeed crazy to see 12 green stripes followed by 8 red stripes."
