Former UFC heavyweight fighter Mark Hunt was unimpressed with Jon Jones dominantly defeating Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 to become the heavyweight king. In a brutal social media rant, he viciously called out the two-division champion for his past legal and personal troubles.

Jones rubbished all talk of ring rust by securing a first-round submission win over Gane on his return to the octagon after a three-year hiatus. His performance was undoubtedly praiseworthy and certainly helped solidify his G.O.A.T status.

Nevertheless, 'Bones' is no stranger to getting into trouble with the law, and throughout his gold-laden career, fans have been reminded of his dark side on multiple occasions.

In a brutal post on Facebook, Mark Hunt labeled Jon Jones a "rat" by bringing up his legal priors involving a hit-and-run case and his steroid use. 'The Super Samoan' also took shots at the UFC, stating:

"The @UFC heavyweight champion of the world, ladies and gentlemen, there you have it, a cheating steroid rat who runs into pregnant women and runs off a rat that hides under the octagon for 10 hours hiding from being tested for drugs... Worthless belt, worthless champion, and an even more worthless rip-off company. In any other sport, this loser wouldn’t be here..."

Francis Ngannou reacts to Jon Jones vs. Ciryl Gane

Jon Jones spectacularly defeated Ciryl Gane just 124 seconds into their heavyweight championship bout at UFC 285 to become a two-division champion. However, Francis Ngannou recently made an interesting observation about Jones and his game plan against the Frenchman.

The Cameroonian believes 'Bones' couldn't wait to get the fight to the ground as soon as possible as he was "afraid" of 'Bon Gamin' becoming harder to catch as the bout went on. Ngannou stated on his YouTube channel:

"What I did notice is that Jon was rushing. Jon didn’t want to give him [Gane] space, because I think he was afraid of something. Maybe he’d get exhausted at some point, not be able to grab him, so he was chasing him from the first minute to grab him. It worked out pretty good, but it tells me something like he wasn’t very confident, he was rushing, which is good for him.”

Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones were initially expected to face each other in a super fight before 'The Predator' surprisingly exited the promotion. While a fight between the two would undoubtedly hype MMA fans, Dana White's recent comments indicate it is improbable that fans will get to see the fight materialize.
