UFC star Jon Jones recently detailed one of his terrifying experiences during his longest time in jail. Jones also mentioned that he was in his late teenage years when he went through the incident during his three-month-long imprisonment.

Jones has had run-ins with the law several times. Police took him into custody even after his UFC 165 fight against Alexander Gustafsson entered the UFC Hall of Fame. 'Bones' was charged with a few other legal misconducts earlier.

However, during his recent meetup with the YouTuber- Day Trader, Alex Gonzalez, Jones revealed that his longest stay behind bars happened when he was "eighteen or young nineteen". 'Bones' also detailed that the police arrested him with charges of attempting to murder a friend after a vicious fight.

A recent X update from @Home_of_Fight highlighted a section of the meetup where Jones described how he received a fight offer from one of his inmates. But he got terrified by his potential rival's words about what he would do if he were to win. Jones quoted his adversary's words. He said:

Thereafter, he disclosed his thoughts:

"I was shook [shaken], bro. I was shook. I was sitting there with a straight face, like I wasn't scared. But deep down inside, bro, I was terrified."

2024 hasn't been free of legal trouble for Jon Jones

Jon Jones has got into trouble with the law in 2024. On 30th March, two anti-doping officers from Drug-Free Sport International visited Jones' house in Albuquerque to collect samples his samples. Following their visit, they lodged a police complaint against Jones, accusing him of threatening to kill them.

One of them said Jones wasn't happy with their early-morning visit to his residence and mentioned that those who visit his house this early "end up dead". 'Bones' was arrested by the New Mexico police following the allegations. Jones finally agreed to take anger management classes to avoid trial.
