Jon Jones recently crossed paths with world champion professional competitive shooter Lena Miculek, taking to Instagram with a picture of the two. However, the UFC heavyweight champion did not share the picture as a post. Instead, he took to his stories on the platform.
The post was in reference to a recent Miculek performance, for which Jones congratulated her. He opted against penning a lengthy statement, instead keeping his praise relatively simple and straightforward.
"Off to a great start!"

'Bones' also recently attended Donald Trump's inauguration. Unfortunately, there's little news on whether he will indeed face the streaking Tom Aspinall, who has been aiming to capture his heavyweight title for quite some time now. Jones, however, previously resisted the idea of fighting the Englishman.
Only after TKO'ing the great Stipe Miocic in round three of a lopsided fight did Jones finally reveal his condition for fighting Aspinall. As he said it, the UFC would have to pay him an exceptionally high purse, which the promotion's CEO, Dana White, seemed more than willing to.
Otherwise, Jones may retire from MMA and pursue acting as he intends. However, his recent revelation that he wants one or two more fights before he hangs up the gloves leaves open room for a potential heavyweight title unification with Aspinall, who currently holds the division's interim belt.
Alternatively, he could face light heavyweight kingpin Alex Pereira in the latter's pursuit of heavyweight dominance. Though if Jones opts to merely retire, he can do so knowing that he authored a legacy unmatched by anyone else.
Jon Jones is an avid amateur shooter
Jon Jones has several hobbies to pursue in his spare time, shooting included. His enthusiasm for firearms is nothing new in the combat sports world, but he is among the UFC's highest-profile firearms enthusiasts. Jones frequently visits a desert-facing shooting range to sharpen his skills.
In a more serious and potentially life-threatening situation, Jones once chased a thief off his property with his shotgun. Security camera footage of the incident made the rounds on social media, drawing attention for its comedic but still shocking nature.
