Jon Jones responded to an incident in Los Angeles where one house remained unscathed amidst two blocks that had been consumed by the ongoing California wildfires. The intense fires have burnt down thousands of hectares of land and numerous structures.
Despite the widespread destruction caused by this disaster, there have been rare cases where some buildings remained unharmed. Instagram handle @melody_of_redemption posted a video showcasing a homeowner whose house reportedly survived the wildfires, even though the entire surrounding block was burned down. The homeowner said:
"I shouldn't be crying because my entire block is burnt down. But God saved my house. Where are all my neighbors? Where are they? In the middle of two burnt-down blocks, there is one house standing and that's mine!"

Jon Jones considering retirement from competitive MMA, according to Joe Rogan
Jon Jones secured his first heavyweight title defense with a third-round TKO win over Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 in November 2024. The MMA community is eager to watch Jones compete in a title unification bout against interim champion Tom Aspinall next.
However, Jones has expressed a preference to fight accomplished veteran fighters like Alex Pereira and indicated he would require what he refers to as "f*** you" money to face a younger and highly skilled opponent like Aspinall.
During a recent episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience' podcast, Joe Rogan mentioned hearing rumors that the UFC had agreed to meet Jones' demand of $30 million for a fight against Aspinall. However, in a later episode, Rogan corrected himself, stating that Jones was actually considering retirement from competition:
"I heard a rumor that Jon Jones wanted $30 million to fight Tom Aspinall. And, I did hear the rumor. I did hear that the UFC said yes but that is not true. So, Dana contacted me. He said that rumor was bullsh** so I thought I felt obligated to tell everybody."
He added:
"Well, apparently Jon Jones is thinking about retirement, and he should. He is going to have to some day. I'm not saying he should retire. I'm saying he should think about it. He's the GOAT. He retires, he's got plenty of money, he's got the opportunity to do some acting."
