Despite his extensive background in boxing, Jonathan Di Bella says he will not have the upper hand against Prajanchai PK Saenchai in that department when they clash in a matter of days.

The Canadian-Italian striking maestro and the ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion meet in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 68 on June 28. The vacant strawweight kickboxing world title will be up for grabs inside the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Though he's used his educated hands to some success in both fights under the ONE banner, the Team Di Bella Kickboxing star believes he will have his work cut out in that department as his Thai foe is cut from the same cloth.

Further backing up his point, he had this to say during the official ONE Friday Fights 68 pre-event press conference yesterday:

"His boxing is good too. I believe he has three pro-fights in boxing, and he's the WBA Asian champion. So I believe it's a fair match in boxing because he has a championship in boxing."

As much as he may be attempting to downplay his chances, the 27-year-old fighting out of Montreal does own one of the best boxing arsenal in the division.

The former divisional king often uses his hands to draw opponents into punching range, where he then follows up with his right hook. Not only that, Jonathan Di Bella also has a world-class kicking game and footwork to go with his punching power upstairs.

Find out if he can reclaim his 26 pounds of gold at ONE Friday Fights 68, available via pay-per-view at watch.onefc.com. As always, the promotion's weekly offering inside the Mecca of Muay Thai will go down in Asia primetime on Friday.

Prajanchai planning a surprise to shut down Jonathan Di Bella

ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Prajanchai is under no illusion that he will be up against the toughest test of his career when he faces Jonathan Di Bella this Friday.

With that in mind, the Thai warrior promises to bring more than just his usual weapons to make sure he accomplishes his two-sport dream on June 28.

He told ONE Championship previously:

"I'm going to throw a variety of punches. And I have some other weapons for him, but please wait and see in the ring."
