Speaking in an interview with The MMA Super-Fan, Haggerty explained that he feels he's competed and defeated better fighters than Kuzmin:

"I got nothing to worry about. I’ve stepped in with the best. I’ve been fighting and training for 17 years. I’m ready."

'The General' is the former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion and holds impressive wins over fighters such as Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, Joseph Lasiri, and Mongkolpetch Petchyindee, among others. His only losses in ONE were against Muay Thai phenom Rodtang Jitmuangnon.

Jonathan Haggerty feels the knockout power at bantamweight

Moving up a weight division into a highly competitive weight class can often bring stress as the fighters there will often be bigger and stronger. Haggerty does not sound too concerned about his opponents, but instead warns that bantamweights should be concerned about him.

While speaking to ONE Championship, 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty said:

“I know stepping up a division, it’s going to be harder to put them away. But I’ve got a saying. In the flyweight division, I was struggling to keep them on the canvas. But now that I’m in the bantamweight division and I’m bigger, they’re going to stay down, and they’re not going to get back up.”

At ONE on Prime Video 4, the 25-year-old British striker feels his experience will give him an edge:

"I will be ready. But I’m expecting him to come out and put the pressure on me with his hands. He can try outmuscling me, but I feel like the counterstrikes and my Muay Thai experience will kick in.”

Jonathan Haggerty will be making his debut in the bantamweight Muay Thai division at ONE on Prime Video 4 on November 18. The formidable Russian-born fighter Vladimir Kuzmin will be looking to stop him.
