Jonathan Haggerty, the reigning ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion, has a handful of moves he is prepared to unleash when he sees a window of opportunity for a finish.
In a lengthy sit-down interview on the Winners Talking Podcast, the British striking wizard shared:
"I'd say the right hand. I'd say the right hand, yeah. It's that or the elbow, the tomahawk elbow."

An orthodox-stanced striker, Haggerty's power shots naturally come from the right side of his body. Fans of the world's largest martial arts promotion have often seen this monstrous power in action, though the most memorable one happened in April 2023.
The 27-year-old secured the first-round TKO win over the legendary Nong-O Hama by dropping him thrice with his right hand. This victory was also a landmark moment for Haggerty as he dethroned Nong-O for the bantamweight Muay Thai crown.
As for the tomahawk elbow, 'The General' brings it out when his opponents least expect it. It played a significant role in his three-round decimation of Joseph Lasiri in his January 2019 promotional debut.
Jonathan Haggerty remains grateful for Superlek encounter despite disastrous result
Jonathan Haggerty lost the 145-pound Muay Thai crown to flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 inside the Ball Arena in just 49 seconds after getting caught with an elbow to the face.
Though it was not a result he wanted, the bantamweight kickboxing king is still happy to have shared the circle with 'The Kicking Machine' and even believes the result would have been different had the fight continued.
In a recent interview with the promotion, Haggerty stated:
"If we had gone a few rounds, it would've been a tough night for Superlek. But we move on and we learn from the experience."
