Reigning and undisputed ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty of the United Kingdom is a fan of the full spectrum of martial arts disciplines.
But there is one fighting style he holds superior above all.
Haggerty has made a name for himself in 'the art of eight limbs', rising to prominence as one of the best Muay Thai fighters in the world over the past few years.
The 27-year-old Knowlesy Academy and Team Underground representative says it's the closest discipline to real fighting as it gets, more than jiu-jitsu, boxing, or any other martial art.

Speaking on the Winners Talking Podcast, Haggerty said:
"Judokas don’t really punch, do they? If they get older, it could take long. Yeah, Muay Thai. I think Muay Thai is like a street fight, it’s the closest thing to a street fight."
Today, Haggerty is a former two-division Muay Thai world champion in ONE Championship, having held titles at both flyweight and bantamweight.
However, the 27-year-old will return to the world's largest martial arts organization soon to defend his kickboxing belt.
